F. Conisbee & Son is the oldest family butchers in Surrey and has been based in East Horsley, near Guildford in Surrey since 1784. We are proud of our reputation gained over two hundred thirty years.
Currently the ninth generation of Conisbees are providing the highest quality meat to the local community, anything from a hog roast, the tastiest Sunday roast to home made sausages and pies. The highest quality is our only standard.
All our meat comes from either our own or other local farms where we have known the farmers for years and can verify their high standard of husbandry. We still buy our meat 'on the hoof', which ensures a consistent supply of high quality meat that is hung as carcasses and quarters to mature naturally.
We know that hanging ensures tenderness and improves the flavour without tainting or discolouring the meat, which is often found in vacuum packed meat, used by many of our competitors.
Our fresh new season lambs are now available. They all come from local farms.
